Elson Rudisill, 74, of Richland, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
Elson was born in Richland on November 22, 1946, to Henry “Toots” and Wildon Emma Rudisill.
A graduate of Luce Township High School, he served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. Elson retired from ALCOA after 27 years of service as an electrician. He was an active member and Elder at Assembly of Faith Church in Evansville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen (Morris) Rudisill; a daughter, Tamatha Rudisill; and siblings, Wildon, Chester, Warren and Wayne.
Elson is survived by his son, Eric Rudisill and his wife, P.J. of Gresham, OR; spiritual daughter, Jeanette Schaad and her husband, David of Hatfield, and their family Zechariah, Micah, and JaLeigh; grandchildren, Kylie Lang and her husband, Anthony; Kaden Rudisill and his wife, Taylor; Keric , Kristopher and Konner Rudisill; great-granddaughter, Mairead Lang; twin brother, Nelson Rudisill and his wife, Linda of Richland; sister, Bonita Sexton of Florida.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Phil Culbertson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Richland.
Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
