Another Touch-a-Truck is in the books, with Saturday offering ideal weather for visitors to get up close and personal with the county’s emergency vehicles and those who work with them. Kids got a chance to meet and greet with paramedics, police officers, firefighters, and even get behind the wheel of the impressive equipment. Some even got a chance to sit in the pilot seat of an air ambulance flown in at Yellig Park, though to the disappointment of some a quick flight was not in the cards, especially not with kids at the helm.
Emergency services from across the county offered a fair amount of information in swag in booths throughout the park, allowing visitors to load up on pens, paper, informational, booklets, bubbles, stickers and more. Food vendors were also present to offer an outdoor lunch during the event.
