Katherine Jean Lester, 65, of Owensboro, Kentucky, formerly of Rockport, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Kathy was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on May 5, 1959, to Robert A. Lester and Jean (Bennett) Haynes, who preceded her in death.
Kathy is survived by her son, Tyler Perry and his wife, Ashley; five grandchildren; brother, Keith Lester and his wife, Jeannie.
Services are 6 p.m. Saturday, September 7, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport. A family burial will take place at Grandview Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation is from 2 until 6 p.m. Saturday, September 7, at the funeral home.
