Saturday marked the second year of “Ark in the Park”, a collaborative event held by local churches at the Rockport Community Building. Ark in the Park serves as a larger-scale version of Vacation Bible School, not only combining multiple congregations, but inviting the whole community to enjoy the fun as well.

The whole community building was abuzz with activity. One end featured inflatables and other group activities. The other was dedicated to a wide array of games offering a variety of prizes. Be it cornhole, ring toss, fishing, or putt-putt golf, there was plenty of fun to go around.

The smell of popcorn kept things lively as well, and those needing a break could sit down to have their face painted. A large mural of Noah’s Ark was also on display for photo opportunities.
