Carolyn L. (Fricker) Graham, 84, of Chrisney, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at her home surrounded by family.
Carolyn was born in Rosiclare, Illinois, on May 29, 1940, to Howard and Idabell (Robinson) Fricker.
A hairdresser for many years, Carolyn owned her own shop. She and her husband owned and operated Car Quest in Rockport, had been in insurance sales, and had owned several restaurants in Chrisney and Rockport over the years.
She was a member of Little Pigeon Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star, Garnet Chapter 146.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by six brothers, three sisters, and her granddaughter, Candice Cain.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Donald Graham, Sr, whom she married on April 30, 1955; her children, Donald Graham and his wife, Rita, of Tennyson, Deborah Ambs and her husband, Mike, of Rockport and Dina Dunsworth and her husband, Scott, of Chrisney; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Linda Smith and her husband, Neil, of Paducah, KY, and Della Ramsey of Florida.
Services were 2 p.m. Sunday, June 16, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Bob Duley officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Chrisney.
Visitation was from 2 until 6 p.m., Saturday, June 15, and from 1 until 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
