Cathy L. Still, of Gentryville, known as “Aunt Cathy”, 68, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Deaconess Gateway in Evansville.
She was born in Greenville, South Carolina on January 25, 1956, to Dana and Mary (Angell) Blanchette.
Cathy had worked as a respiratory therapist for many different hospitals. She was a member of Gentryville United Church of Christ. Cathy was a kind person who enjoyed helping and caring for others. She enjoyed the simple things in life such as spending time with her husband, boat rides and mowing grass.
Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Chris Still, a sister, Laurie Ziliak, and nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents and siblings, Michael and Jamie Blanchette and Lisa Blowers.
A Celebration of Cathy’s life will be held at a later date. Chris asks that you attend your church and light a candle or say a prayer in memory of Cathy.
She will later be laid to rest at the Garden of Memory in Gentryville, where again, Chris asks that if you are ever there, sit on her bench and say a prayer.
