Janet Ann Ziliak, 72, of Chrisney, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023, at The Waters of Rockport.
Janet was born in Evansville on November 23, 1950, to the late Irvin and Mary Seng.
She was a homemaker, seamstress, an Oblate of St. Benedict, and a member of St. Martin Catholic Church.
Janet’s grandchildren were the light of her life.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Marie Ziliak; and her sisters, Mary Weinzapfel and Joanne Seng.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Ziliak; her son, Nicholas (Kristy) Ziliak; her daughter, Sharon (Stephen C.) Bender; her grandchildren, Lorenn (Ian) Greer, Michaela King, Stephen M. Bender, and Brianna and Alex Ziliak; her great-grandchildren, Lena and Kit Greer; and her beloved dog, Casey.
Services are 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 5, at St. Martin Catholic Church, 52 S. Church St., Chrisney. Burial will follow in St. Martin Catholic Cemetery in Chrisney.
Visitation is 3 until 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with a prayer service at 5 p.m.
