The annual Mariah Hill Picnic drew quite a crowd Sunday as residents and visitors filed in for fun, food, games, and perhaps a gallon or two of Mariah Hill’s famous soup. Air-conditioned buildings offered bingo and indoor meals, though a bit of cloud cover kept the outdoor activities and food vendors well attended as well. Kids played ring toss, plinko, and other games while adults tried their luck at the quilt wheel and games of chance. Still more simply enjoyed a chance to meet and greet.
