It was a busy week for utility workers across the county following a series of severe storms, as well as a hot and muggy aftermath. According to Chrisney Utility Superintendent John Graham, the community was left almost entirely without power in the immediate aftermath, and a great many residents had to make do without for more than 24 hours. Cleanup and repairs were still ongoing late in the week, even as subsequent waves of severe weather rolled through.
