William “Billy” Eugene York III, 32, of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
Billy was born on December 8, 1992, to William Eugene York II and Bobbie York in Owensboro, Kentucky.
He had worked as a forklift operator. He loved to work and liked to go to the casino. His favorite color was red.
Billy was preceded in death by his father, William York II, his brother, Jimmy Grose, and his grandfather, Joe Bohler.
He is survived by his daughters, Layla Jo York and Lyra York; his mother, Bobbie York; his brothers, Christopher Nugent (Teresa), Mark Nugent, and Brian Nugent; his aunt, Peggy Rainey; his girlfriend, Kalaha LaShea and her son, Jace LaShea; his ex-wife, Alexis York; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Sunday, June 22, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport.
