A Medicine Cabinet Cleanout Day will be held Saturday, October 26 from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. to allow Spencer County residents an opportunity to dispose of their unused and expired prescription and over-the-counter medications. Drop-off locations are the fire departments in Dale, Rockport, Santa Claus and St. Meinrad.
The event is being sponsored by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Spencer County Substance Abuse Council, volunteer fire departments, Solid Waste Management District and Prosecutor’s Office.
