“Walking Man: an intimate James Taylor experience” has been added to the Lincoln Amphitheatre’s 2020 performance series on Saturday, September 26, at 7 p.m. central time. The two-set performance will celebrate the music of five-time Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member James Taylor — an artist whose catalog of music is amongst the best-selling of all time.
Tickets are limited to less than one fifth of the venue’s seating capacity to ensure extreme social distance is maintained. Tickets for the tribute can be purchased for $14.95 at www.LincolnAmphitheatre.com.
“Walking Man” will feature Nashville, Tennessee’s Bill Griese as he faithfully recreates the timeless music of James Taylor through sound-alike vocals and authentic finger-picking. With one guitar and one voice, Griese works incredibly hard to provide intimate, stripped-down, solo acoustic versions of Taylor’s most well-known songs.
All Lincoln Amphitheatre 2020 events have abided by and will abide by all current rules and recommendations from the CDC, as well as current guidelines of Governor Holcomb’s “Back on Track” plan for re-opening the state. For additional information about the Governor’s plan, visit www.backontrack.in.gov. On site hand sanitizer will be provided courtesy of a partnership with Battle Monkey, a product of Monkey Hollow Winery & Distillery (www.monkeyhollowwinery.com).
Full concessions, including beer and wine, will be available at the September 26 Walking Man performance. Tickets are still available for the September 19 Will Read and Sing for Food Amphitheatre fundraiser and the October 10 showing of The Goonies in the parking lot drive-in style. Tickets for all Lincoln Amphitheatre events can be found at www.LincolnAmphitheatre.com.
