Anna Jean Boyd, 92, of Rockport, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at her home surrounded by family.
Anna was born in Rockport on October 6, 1931, to Willis and Alfa (Shelton) Harrison.
She was a graduate of Rockport High School and had worked for Bell South Phone Company in Owensboro for 32 years. Anna was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the Red Hat Society and the Rockport American Legion Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Boyd; her brothers, Charles Harrison, Joe Harrison, Jim Harrison, Calvin Harrison and Bob Harrison; and her sisters, Helen Smith and Gladys Phillips.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Kaye Masterson and her husband, Edward, of Rockport; her grandchildren, McKenzie Steckler and her husband, Jeremy, Tonia Ambs, Tanya Cowans and Emilee Schulte; her great-grandchildren, Jed Ambs, Casex Ambs, Maelee Ambs, Wyatt Cowans, Mellodee Cowans, Sofia Cowans, Gracie Steckler, Cash Steckler, Boyd Stecker and Rosie Steckler.
Services were 3 p.m. Sunday, June 30, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Jimmy Ahl officiating. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 1 until 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
