On Friday, April 17, the Indiana State Police and the Perry County Coroner’s office were able to positively identify the body found near the Rome boat ramp on the Ohio River in Perry County on April, 6. The body has been identified as Stephanie Black of New Albany.
Louisville Metropolitan Police Department had taken the initial report and are working the investigation. No foul play is suspected. The family of the deceased has been notified. Any further questions should be directed to the Perry County Coroner or the Louisville Metropolitan Police Department.
