Brownie C. Muir, 88, of Deland Florida, passed away from natural causes on December 26, 2022, at home.
She was born December 25, 1934, to Elmer and Flora Winkler in Dale. She became a teacher and had four children before moving to Florida in 1973 with her husband, William Muir, and their children.
While living in Florida, Brownie continued her career in teaching while also helping run Brownies Coin Laundry, which she owned with her husband.
Brownie is survived by her remaining three children, Jim Muir, Jean Schlier and Marcus Muir; five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; husband; and her son, Thomas Muir.
