Charles William “Bill” Arrington, 82, of Rockport, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, surrounded by family.
Bill was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on August 22, 1941, to the late Elmore Jackson Arrington and Nancy (Baker) Arrington.
Bill was an electrical engineer and was instrumental in starting many small companies throughout his career. He was a member of Golden City Lodge No. 1 in Golden, Colorado and the Knights Templar.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Tracy Michael, Ann and Scotty.
Bill is survived by his wife, Sharon (Ward) Arrington; his children, Charles William Arrington, Jr., Robert Truman Arrington, John E. Arrington, Lena Irene Smith, Lisa Kay Arrington, Kay Lynn McKeehan and Marcee Chaleise Everly; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brother, John Skotnick; his beloved cousin, Ann; and his first wife, Dolores Umfleet.
Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport has been entrusted with care.
