Cherryl L. Leslie, 67, of Rockport, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville.
She was born in Evansville, on December 2, 1953, to Charles and Christine (Leonard) Nix.
She attended Boonville First Assembly Church and retired as the assistant manager of Circle S in Grandview.
Cherryl loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was also a huge Elvis fan.
Survivors include her children, Angie Gunter and her husband, Bobby, of Rockport, Charles Nix of Grandview, Crissy Kirchgessner of Grandview, Luke Leslie of Rockport, Jon Leslie and his wife, Rachel, of Grandview and Eric Leslie of Grandview; her mother, Christine Nix of Boonville; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Karen Simmons of Hatfield and Dannie Fisher and her husband, Fred, of Boonville; and her bearded dragon, Hermie.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Nix, and her grandmother, Caroline Leonard.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 11, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Kris Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 until 8 p.m. Sunday, October 10, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
