Daniel W. Decker, Jr., 80, of Rockport, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020, at his home surrounded by family.
He was born in Olaton, Kentucky, on April 12, 1940, to the late Daniel A. Decker and Vonnie (St. Clarie) Decker.
He retired from ALCOA Warrick Operations after 25 years of service. He also owned and operated D & D Concrete.
Daniel is survived by his daughters, Brenda Kempf of Newburgh, Linda Hancock and her husband, William, and Audrey Nation, all of Rockport; son-in-law, Tim Griggs of Vincennes; grandchildren, Chris, Patricia, Cheryl, Steven, John, Mark, Nichole, Kristina, Crystal and Angie; 15 great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy (Richards) Decker, and a daughter, Kim Griggs.
Services for Daniel W. Decker, Jr. were held Sunday, July 12, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Tim Coomer officiating. Burial followed in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Rockport.
