Delores Darlene Boop, 85, of Rockport, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024, at The Waters of Rockport.
Darlene was born in Evansville on October 18, 1938, to the late Clatis and Olivia (Helfert) Glass.
Darlene was a homemaker and had dedicated her life to her family.
In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Boop; her daughter, Rachelle Boop; her granddaughter, Wendy Neat; her great-grandson, Braeyden Fuqua; and her brother, Bill Glass.
Darlene is survived by her children, George T. Boop, of Oakland City, Billy Joe Boop and his wife, Linda, of Oakland City and Debra Wilhelmus and her husband, John, of Rockport; 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Carl Jones officiating. Burial will follow at James Parker Cemetery in Hatfield.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
