David J. Taves 68, of Jasper, died on June 18, 2020, at his home in Jasper.
He was born in Ladysmith, Wisconsin on October 3, 1951.
He was an Army Ranger Veteran who served from 1969-1977.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Taves; his daughter, Rene Deno (Jason); his sons, James Taves, Jeffery Taves, and Nathan Taves (Ellie); grandchildren, Gavin, Jasmine, Alec, Nina, Robyn, Andrew, Shera, Mia and Elijah; great-grandchildren, Harmony and Dominic; his brother, Tony Taves (Theresa); two sisters, Lori Gardner (Doug) and Paulette Georgantas (Robert); nieces, Amanda, Lainie, Elaina, Amanda and Amy; nephews, Anthony, Alex, David, Christopher, Robert, Dominic and Jimmy Fisher; cousins, Lori Ziliak (Bob) and Cathy Steel (Chris); aunt, Diane McCormick; brother-in-law, Keith Komorous (Nancy); and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Werner and Elaine Taves; his sister, Pam Fisher; his uncles, Dana Blanchette, Tom Blanchette and Jim (Sue) Blanchette; cousins, James Blanchette and Lisa Blowers; and his Grandma Gilbert.
There will be no services or visitation. Fuller Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
