David Schickinger 73, of Santa Claus, died unexpectedly on January 5, 2020, at Owensboro Health.
He was born August 30, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky to Elmer (Chick) and Dorothy (Ebertshauser) Schickinger.
He was a member of Suburban Masonic Lodge No. 740 F&AM, the Scottish Rite S.J. and Kosair Temple, all in Louisville, KY.
He was a sales rep for Winkler Inc. from 1974 until his retirement in 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Schickinger; a daughter, Renee’ (Greg) Bailey; granddaughters, Kelsey and Lindsey; sister, Dianna Meadors; sister-in-law, Bonny Light; a brother, Douglas Schickinger; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, from 12 to 4 p.m. CST with a Masonic Service following at 4 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home in Dale.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Kosair Shrine Center, 4120 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218-3230.
