Donald R. Graham, 88, of Chrisney, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at his home surrounded by family.

Donald was born in Chrisney on February 10, 1937, to John and Adeline (Bays) Graham.

He served in the Army National Guard, was a member of Little Pigeon Baptist Church, a 50+ year Masonic Lodge member, and a 32nd Degree Shriner.

During high school, Donald worked at C.V. Jones Grocery. After graduating, he worked at Whirlpool for 10 years, before opening a garage in Chrisney with his dad, which led him to go to radiator school. During this time, he was also a school bus driver. In 1971, he and his dad had the opportunity to buy Rockport Auto Parts, which he owned and operated until 2000. He loved to trap shoot, was an avid bird and deer hunter, and loved to fish.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn, who passed away in 2024; his granddaughter, Candice Cain; and his brother, John Graham.

Donald is survived by his children, Donald Graham and his wife, Rita, Deborah Ambs and her husband, Mike, and Dina Dunsworth and her husband, Scott; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; his siblings, Edith Filbert and her husband, Ed, Lloyd Graham and his wife, June, and Louis Graham.

Services were held Friday, May 9, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Bob Duley officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Chrisney.

A Shriner’s walk-through and Masonic service were held Friday at the funeral home.
