Doris Marie Hanebutt, age 54, of Huntingburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis.
She was born March 10, 1967, in Huntingburg, to Claude Jr. and Mary Darlene (Merkley) VanHoosier; and married Jeffrey A. Hanebutt on August 19, 1989 in St. Meinrad, Indiana. Doris was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg; and loved cooking and traveling
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Sandy VanHoosier.
Doris is survived by her husband, Jeffrey A. Hanebutt of Huntingburg; two daughters, Kayla Marie and Melissa Renee Hanebutt, both at home; her mother, Mary VanHoosier of St. Meinrad; two sisters, Judy Mangin of Santa Claus and Mary Kaster of Tell City; three brothers, Kevin VanHoosier of Tell City, Johnny VanHoosier of Washington, D.C. and James VanHoosier of St. Meinrad.
Funeral services for Doris Marie Hanebutt will be held at 10 a.m., E.D.T., Saturday, November 6, at Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg.
