Edna C. Meunier, 95, passed away Thursday March 3, 2022, at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City.
She was born in New Boston, on January 1, 1927, the daughter of the late Pius J. and Anna (Kleiser) Boehm.
She married Albert J. Meunier on May 28, 1946, who preceded her in death on July 29, 1987.
Edna was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church the Daughters of Isabella and enjoyed quilting and dancing.
Surviving are her children, Carol (Eugene “Smokey”) Waninger of Santa Claus, Jim (Mary) Meunier of Evanston, Bill Meunier of Tell City, Steve (Debbie) Meunier of Lamar, Mike (Laura) Meunier of Evanston and Jane (John) Lasher of Corydon; sisters, Eileen Schaefer of St, Meinrad, Betty (Larry) Hanselman of Jasper; 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister Maxine Waninger; two brothers, Nester Boehm and Wilfred Boehm; a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. CST on Monday, March 7, at St. Pius Catholic Church in Troy, with burial in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Tell City.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. CST Sunday and from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. CST Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Pius Catholic Church, St. Mary Catholic Cemetery or the St. Pius Council of Catholic Women.
