Eunice E. Hughes, 87, of Rockport, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
Eunice was born in Evansville on August 3, 1935, to Homer and Eller Williams.
She had retired from Pinkerton Tobacco and enjoyed golfing, fishing and camping.
In addition to her parents, Eunice was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Sue O’Risky, and her sisters, Janet Williams and Bonnie Kavanaugh.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Fred Hughes; her children, Kathy Kase and her husband, Andrew, Chris Gunn and her husband, Tom, and Gary O’Risky; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her sister, Dorothy Crowe and her husband, Austin; and her beloved dog, Bella.
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday, April 13, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Tim Coomer officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
