At approximately 6:13 a.m. on Monday, August 9, the Spencer County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a 911 call advising of an accident that had occurred on State Road 66 near the address of 8450 E SR 66.
Units arrived on scene to find two vehicles involved and one person deceased from his or her injuries.
Indiana State Police were contacted for reconstruction of the accident.
No other information will be released until after the family is notified and further investigation is completed.
