Frank G. Kamuf III, 85, of Rockport, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Willowdale Village of Dale.
Frankie was born on November 7, 1937, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to the late Frank G. Kamuf II and Mary Florence (May) Kamuf.
He had been a maintenance supervisor with Dart Polymers of Owensboro, Kentucky and had owned and operated Kamuf Construction.
Frankie was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Rockport and also attended St. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church in Owensboro. He enjoyed being outdoors, farming and hunting.
He is survived by his children, Margaret Jarnigan of Weirton, WV; Frank George Kamuf IV and his wife, Jill, of Dale; and Michael L. Kamuf and his wife, Angela, of Rockport; his grandchildren, Melissa, Kathryn, Ashley, Christopher and Chelsi; 13 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Charlotte Reynolds and Agnes Stallings.
In addition to his parents, Frankie was preceded in death by Marsha Kamuf and his siblings, Pat Jackson and Edward Kamuf.
Services are 10 a.m. on Friday, March 3, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Rockport, with Father Ron Kreilein officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Patronville.
Visitation is 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday, March 2, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, and from 9 until 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
