George Franklin Jones, Jr., 66, passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
He was born on February 22, 1958, to George Sr. and Darlene (O’Risky) Jones.
George worked for Pasco Painting as a painter for many years, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spent many years watching and cheering on his beloved Denver Broncos. George loved spending time with his granddaughter Gwendolyn.
George was a 1977 graduate of South Spencer High School.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Sr. in 2014.
He is survived by his son, Ben Jones; granddaughter, Gwendolyn Jones; mother, Darlene Jones; sisters, Rhonda (Randy) Yonts, Vicki Johnson, Raylene (David) Brown, Karen Rearden, Shelley Poole, Tereasa (Todd) Keefer and Becky (Woody) Woodward; and by many nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held from 12 to 2 p.m. Friday, May 3, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport. Service was held at 2 p.m. (CDT) officiated by Bro. Woody Woodward.
In lieu of flowers, donations were made to the Boultinghouse Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
