The annual Schweizer Fest in Tell City is underway. One of the highlights so far was the bed race Sunday afternoon. That community tradition returned after 40 years consigned to memory, with teams speeding wheeled beds (along with a designated “jockey”) down Main Street toward the William Tell Statue. Competition was fierce as teams struggled to keep their speedy sleepers on course and ahead of the opposition.
