Trick or treaters filled the streets across the county throughout the day and evening of Halloween. Rockport and St. Bernard students got a head start on Main Street, enjoying what warmth the noon sun could provide. The sidewalks of Main Street were lined with treat stations from area businesses, public servants, and other volunteers.
Staff at the city hall and local law enforcement decided to have some fun with their costumes, with police officers and deputies donning the orange jumpsuits of an inmate while the civilians spent the day in police wear and bulletproof vests.
Teachers and law enforcement were out in force in the chilly weather to help navigate traffic as hundreds of kids made their rounds across Rockport’s Downtown.
The fun continued into the chilly night as local households got into the fun, setting up their own decorations and ambient music while handing out candy to the costumed kids from across the county.

Character Crossing: A ninja, two Minecraft characters, Wednesday Addams, and a Dinosaur Rider all crossed the street as they walked through town
