On Tuesday, January 3, 2023, his beloved daughter Kari Frakes came to take Harold Nicholas Frakes home to reunite with his parents Herman and Clara, brothers Bill, Clint and Donnie, grandson Connor Stafford, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Those left behind to mourn his passing include his wife of 62 years, Doris Moore Frakes; daughter Kathie and her husband Deron Stafford; brother Martin Frakes and sister Nancy Markwell; his grandchildren Nichols Barrett, Renee Dickson (Brandon), Trenton Wilkinson (Ashley), Ian Stafford (Mikah), Shae Stafford, Krysten Wilkinson and Brayden Nicholas Wilkinson; great-grandchildren Skyler Harvey, Ella Barrett, Brock Harvey, Elijah Barrett, Zane Dickson, Hunter Biggs and Nolan Dickson; and many nieces and nephews.
In life he achieved many things. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a construction professional, a college graduate in business administration.
He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. He will be dearly missed by all that new him.
There will be a celebration of life from 12 until 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, at the Community Building in Rockport City Park.
Burial will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 5, at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Rockport.
Boultinghouse Funeral Home of Rockport is entrusted with care.
