Harold Ray Heilman, 67, of Chandler, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.

Harold was born in Evansville on July 11, 1954, to Martin and Edith (Ochsner) Heilman.

He graduated from Castle High School in 1972. Harold was a life long farmer in Warrick County. He was the 2015 Indiana State Conservation Farmer of the year and was proud to serve on the Warrick County Co-Op board and the SWCD board for several years.

He is preceded in death by his father; nephew, Lynn Gulley; and sister-in-law, Linda Gulley.

Harold is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kristy Heilman of Chandler; children, Amanda Goedde and her husband, Brian of Carmel, Andrew Heilman and his wife, Emily of Indianapolis, Jacob Stilwell of Boonville and Caleb Heilman of Chandler; grandchildren, Ethan Goedde, Emma Goedde, Aaron Goedde, Ada Heilman, Wilhemina Heilman; his mother, Edith Heilman; and brother, Ronnie Gulley.

Special thanks to Dewayne Byers and Tim Reibold, as well as many others who have faithfully worked with Harold over the years.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 29, at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, with Rev. Michael Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville.

Visitation will be from 2 until 7 p.m. on Friday, January 28, and again from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville.
