The Lincoln Drama Association presents the family-friendly and holiday favorite It’s a Wonderful Life as part of and in conjunction with the Santa Claus Christmas Celebration.
The last chance to catch a performance, held in the Heritage Hills High School auditorium, is this weekend, Saturday, December 18, at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 19 at 2 p.m. All times listed are central and each performance lasts approximately one hour with no intermission.
Adult tickets are $9.95 and children 12 and under are $5 and available online now at bit.ly/wonderful-2021. Tickets will also be available at the door (cash only) for each performance ($10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under).
It’s a Wonderful Life is a beloved American holiday classic and it will come to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast directed by Sandi Fortune. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. It’s a Wonderful Life is presented in part by the Spencer County Community Foundation, is directed by Sandi Ludlow Fortune, and will feature a cast of local actors and actresses portraying multiple roles.
