Jacqueline “Jackie” (Nix) Libbert, 77, of Boonville, left this world on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.
She was born in Boonville, on August 10, 1943, to the late Cecil and Pansy (Gentry) Nix.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert “Bob” Libbert; children, Philip (Johanna) Libbert of Richland and Laura (Dennis) Batts of Boonville; grandson, Jonathan (Kandace) Batts; great-grandson, Keldon; grandson, Cameron (Megan) Batts; great-grandkids, Chloe, Jaxon and Maddie; extended grandchildren, Zachary, Katie, Lauren and Véra; sister, Katherine Heidorn; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Gerletta (Alton) Russel, Ruth (Paul) McDaniel, Gladys (Ralph) Miller, Ruby Noffsinger, Mildred (Don) Woolsey, Ethel (Bill) Johnson and Elois Kay Phillips; brothers, Charles Nix and Darrell Nix; and brother-in-law, Eugene Heidorn.
A Catholic mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2, at St. Clement Catholic Church in Boonville, with Father Jack Durchholz and Father Jim Sauer officiating. Burial will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville.
Visitation will be held from 2 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville and again from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Cancer Foundation, or to St. Clement Catholic Church.
