James Kenneth “Kenny” Goodwin, 67, of Rockport, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Transcendent Healthcare South in Boonville.
He was born in Evansville, on November 13, 1954, to the late James “Jay” C. and Marie (Fulks) Goodwin.
Kenny was a member of Rockport American Legion Post 254. He operated heavy equipment for many years and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his siblings, Sue Mattingly of Hatfield, Judy Wilkinson of Rockport, Margie Goodwin and Gene of Rockport and Jenny Nix of Hatfield; his extended family, Patty Seitz, Rachel Blake and Alexis Seitz; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his daughter, Micki Lee Goodwin, and his brother, Cletus Ray “Chipper” Goodwin.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, December 19, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Dale.
