Janet Carol Ayer, 77, of Francisco, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Amber Manor Care Center.
Janet was born in Evansville, on November 18, 1944, to the late Ernest and Earline (Baker) Johnson.
Janet worked at Hanson Manufacturing for 38 years before retiring. She enjoyed oil painting, crafting, and swap meets.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Johnson; and sister, Susan Carver.
Janet is survived by her son, Scott Ayer of Washington; siblings, Carl Johnson; Barbara Cooper, and Josephine Johnson; several nieces and nephews; best friend, Jackie Taylor.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. CDT on Monday, August 1, at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, with Pastor John Peach officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove in Boonville.
Visitation will be from 2 until 6 p.m. CDT on Sunday, July 31, and again from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
