Jeffrey Lowell Clark, 65, of Dale, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024, at his daughter’s home in Richland, surrounded by family.
Jeff was born in New Albany on October 21, 1958, to William “Pete” Clark and Nona (Anderson) Bell.
A New Albany High School graduate and a life-long member of Grace Lutheran Church in New Albany, he had been employed as a forklift operator with Winkler’s Wholesale in Dale for 25 years.
Jeff loved sports and was especially passionate about Indy Car racing. His favorite place to eat was Jimador Mexican Restaurant in Dale and could be found there every single night.
He was preceded in death by his father, William “Pete” Clark; his grandson, Elijah Sanders; and his brother, Marty Clark.
Jeff is survived by his daughter, Lori Downs (Zack); his grandchildren, Skyla Downs, and Zackary Downs; his mother, Nona Bell (Jim); his siblings, Diana Warren (Mark), Bradley Clark (Lori), Matthew Clark (Christina), Sarah Clark, and Rachel Clark; several nieces and nephews.
There will be no services. Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport has been entrusted with care.
The family would like to thank Heart-to-Heart Hospice for their love and care for Jeff and would like for all who knew him to have a margarita in his honor.
