Joyce B. Boyd, 85, of Newburgh, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Woodmont Health Campus in Boonville.
Joyce was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 8, 1939, to George and Marion (Arnold) Bender.
She had earned a master’s degree and had worked as a school psychologist.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Boyd, and her sister, Nanci Bender.
She is survived by her cousin, Jeanine Kelly; her sisters-in-law, Jeri (Jim) Capezza and Peggy (Scott) Coomer; her nieces, Christie (Thomas) Gandy and Lauren (Dan) Mitchell; her nephews, Zach Combs and Derek (Brandy) Coomer; 13 great-nieces and -nephews.
There will be no services at this time. Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport has been entrusted with care.
