Judy Diane Myers, 81, of Rockport, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at her home surrounded by family.
Judy was born in Evansville on September 21, 1942, to Louis and Georgie (Deeg) Ferguson.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Church and a past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star in Rockport. Judy liked gardening, was an avid reader, and enjoyed shopping and traveling.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her first husband, William “Bill” Young.
She is survived by her husband, Wymond “Butch” Myers; her children, Danette Winn (Glenn) and Michael Young (Rebecca); her stepchildren, David Myers (Jennifer), Christine Myers (Eric), and Mara Mattingly (Ken); nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
An Eastern Star service will begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with the funeral service to follow, officiated by Jim Ahl. A private burial will take place later.
Visitation is from 1 until 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
