Julia Theresa Daffron, 64, of Rockport, passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, surrounded by family.
Julia was born in Tell City on October 3, 1959, to the late Paul Casper Schneider and Mary Agnes (Biever) White.
Julia was a member of Revival Center Church of Grandview, and had served the community as a property and casualty insurance agent at Martin-Serrin Insurance Agency for almost 30 years.
She was passionate about interior design and worked alongside her husband building and remodeling homes for over 35 years. She also enjoyed being outdoors, especially gardening.
In addition to her parents, Julia was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Terry Jarboe.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Charles Victor Daffron; her children, Crystal Daffron of Owensboro, Kentucky and Brooke Hutchison and her husband, Ryan, of Grandview; her grandchildren, Chelsea Adamic, Kylee Adamic, Aidon Adamic, and Camden Hutchison; her great-granddaughter, Oaklynn Lipscomb; her siblings, Gilbert Schneider and his wife, Trudy, Marion Schneider and his wife, Janet, Mike Schneider and his wife, Darlene, Tim Schneider, Benita Lembeck and her husband, Marion, Grace Brumfield and her husband, Rick, Angie Jarboe, and Janelle Maurer and her husband, Jeff; several nieces and nephews.
Services are 3 p.m. Sunday, March 3, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Brother Tim Schneider and Reverend Paul Haaff officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Newtonville.
Visitation is 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
