Justin Daniel Hine, 31, of Rockport, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.
Justin was born on September 21, 1989, in Camden, Arkansas.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Rockport and played piano for them as well.
Justin’s musical talent was a true gift from God. He taught himself to read music, but played mostly by ear. Nursing home residents would just hum a tune and Justin would start playing along. He saw nothing but good in people and had a constant smile on his face. Justin was a true angel on earth.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Joe Meece; and paternal grandparents, Betty and Henry Berg.
Justin is survived by his parents, Vicke and Dwight Hine of Rockport; siblings, Johnny (Alisha) George of Rogers, AR; Kyra Mattingly (Matt Broeker) and Tabitha George, all of Rockport; and Brian George (Amy Brassart) of Pea Ridge, AR; grandparents, Ed and Ruth Hine; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and -nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins and best friends, Tyler and Ashley Montgomery.
Services are 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 21, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Carl Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
