Kathy D. Tucker, 71, of Rockport, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, surrounded by family.
Kathy was born on October 4, 1952, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Charles and Elsie Rose (Richards) Elrod.
Kathy was a member of Gospel Mission Church in Rockport and had previously attended Riverside Assembly of God in Evansville. She had retired from T.J. Maxx in Evansville after many years of service.
In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, George Tucker, Jr.; her son, Randall Gunter; and her grandson, Tyler Gunter.
She is survived by her children, Bobby Gunter and his wife, Angie, Jennifer Alvey and Devin Alvey; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; her brother, Chuck Elrod; and her beloved dog, Butch, whom she loved very much.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday, November 11, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Tim Coomer officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
