Kenneth Beasley Sr., 90, of Grandview, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.

Kenneth was born in Grandview, on October 26, 1931, to the late James T. and Lorena M. (Haaf) Beasley.

A 1949 graduate of Chrisney High School and a United States Navy veteran who served in the Korean War, Kenneth was a member of Gentryville United Methodist Church, a lifelong member of the American Legion and a past Commander.

Kenneth had been a dairy farmer for 31½ years. He loved his church, going to Bible study, driving around, and going to the river.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Catherine Beasley, who passed away in 2014; sister, Anna Glosek; brother Robert C. Beasley; and stepfather, Frank Stephens.

He is survived by his children, Brenda Rue and her husband, Keith, of Dale, Linda Seger and her husband, Nicholas, of Haubstadt, Kenneth Beasley, Jr. and his wife, Beverly, of Dale and Debbie Hill and her husband, James, of Sellersburg; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Harry T. Beasley.

Services are 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, at Gentryville United Methodist Church, 702 Main Street, with Pastor Charlotte Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Chrisney.

Visitation is from 3 until 7 p.m. Friday, September 30, and from 10 until 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Boultinghouse Funeral Home-Youngblood Chapel in Chrisney has been entrusted with care.
