Larry Bilderback, 80, of Evansville, formerly of Rockport, passed away Monday, June 6, 2022, at Woodmont Health Campus in Boonville.
Larry graduated from Rockport High School with the class of 1960. He started his lifelong career in the newspaper field, having worked as a student for Joe Hargis at the Rockport Journal. Larry went on to work 41 years, retiring from the Evansville Courier and Press.
He was an avid golfer and I.U. fan.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Irene and stepdad, Aquilla Garvin; and a sister, Pat Hamilton.
He is survived by two brothers, Eugene of Columbus, Ohio and Jerry (Fay) of Owensboro, Kentucky; and a sister and caregiver, Ramona Daming (Paul) of Richland; a grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted by Browning Funeral Home in Evansville with private burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Richland.
