Linda Kay (Kellams) Drake, 80, of Santa Claus, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at her residence.
She was born in Paoli on March 6, 1943 to Pauline (Holland) Kellams Parks.
Linda married Dennis Drake on March 17, 1962 and he survives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Melissa Ann Drake; two brothers, Larry and Lonnie Kellams; and two sisters, Janice Kellams and Deretha Colber.
Linda was a 1961 graduate of Paoli High School, a member of Victory Baptist Church and Pilot Club Professional Organization.
She worked along side her husband at Dennis Drake Insurance Agency, LLC, representing State Farm Insurance.
Linda enjoyed playing Scrabble, puzzles, networking, word search, reading and spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Drake; one daughter, Michele Lynette (Drake) Borton (Kevin); a sister, Vicki Childers; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Craig Chestnut on Saturday, September 23 at 1 p.m. EDT at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home in French Lick with burial to follow at Ames Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 23, from 11 a.m. EDT until the time of service at the funeral home.
