Lola Mae (Bailey) Skelton, 85, of Grandview, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, Kentucky.
She was born in Grandview on August 15, 1934, to the late Orval and Mary F. (Bullington) Bailey.
Lola is survived by her children, Connie Owens and her husband, Paul, Lex Ann Talbott and her husband, Mark, Cindy Barrett and her husband, Tom, and Nancy King and her husband, Gordon, all of Grandview; her “fifth daughter”, granddaughter Libbi Huffman, and her husband, Keith; grandchildren, Leslie Owens, Kelli Owens, Creek Talbott, T.J. Barrett, Mariah Adkisson, Nathan King, Hannah King, Stephen King and Rebekah King; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Bailey, Kacie, Talon, Kevin, Lydia and Jasper; and one great-great-grandchild on the way.
In addition to her parents, Lola was preceded in death by her husband, William A. “Bill” Skelton, in 2014, as well as her siblings.
A public visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport.
Funeral services will be private, with burial at Grandview Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grandview Church of the Nazarene or Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
