Loraine Snyder, 92, of Seffner, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at her home.

Born in Tell City, on June 13, 1928, to the late Ernest and Rosa C. (Falls) Robinson, Loraine retired from Underwriters Laboratory, where she worked as a secretary. She was also a member of Bell Shoals Baptist Church in Brandon, Florida.

She loved to crochet, was an amazing seamstress, enjoyed embroidering, quilting, gardening, and collecting rocks, and loved hummingbirds.

Loraine is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Reingardt (Danny) and Tamara “Tami” (Kevin) Cooper; her grandchildren, Julie Flener, Ryan Cooper, Brent Cooper, and Marissa Cooper; her great-grandchildren, Jay Flener and Tessa Flener; her brothers, Walter Robinson, Allen Robinson, David Robinson, and Jim Robinson; and her sister, Mary Esther Meredith.

In addition to her parents, Loraine was preceded in death by her son, James Leslie Snyder; two brothers, Daniel Robinson and Ernest “Bub” Robinson; and two sisters, Louise Ridens and Veva Stepro.

Services for Loraine Snyder will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, April 3, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Ivan Truman officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.

Visitation is 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
