Loretta Seckinger, 84, of St. Meinrad, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024, at her home. Loretta was born April 14, 1940 in Perry County to Victor and Anna (Schwartz) Berger.
She married Leo Seckinger on November 22, 1962 in St. Boniface Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2003.
Loretta was a member of St. Boniface Parish. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening and flowers.
Loretta is survived by a daughter, Doris (Jim) Glenn of Ferdinand; two sons, Mark Seckinger of Dale and Kevin Seckinger of St. Meinrad; two brothers, Albert (Janice) Berger of Ferdinand and Leroy (Nancy) Berger of Jasper; a sister, Maryetta Boehm of St. Meinrad; two grandchildren, Winston (Abigail Gibson) Glenn and Colton (Hannah Borden) Glenn; great-grandchild, Grayson Glenn.
Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, Leo and a brother, Paul Berger.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 3 at 10 a.m. CDT in St. Boniface Church in Fulda. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Condolences may be shared at www.becherfuneralhome.com.
