Marilyn Efinger Hagan, 85, of Evansville, went to join our Lord on Monday, August 29, 2022 at the Heritage Center. She was born March 24, 1937 in Evansville, to Edward and Elvera Efinger. Marilyn retired from Branchville Prison as a Social Worker. She loved being outdoors working in flower gardens. She was a very talented quilter and made personal quilts for family and friends. Marilyn was also a magnificent pianist. She loved animals and always had dogs around her and at one time even raised St. Bernards.
She is survived by six children, Charles (Natalia) Hagan, Jr., Pat (Doris) Hagan, Tony (Ally) Hagan, Jacinta (Kevin) Hagan Winsett, Lester (Beth) Hagan, and Leslie Seibert. Marilyn is also survived by two brothers, Edward (Elizabeth) Efinger and James Efinger.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hagan, Sr.; and grandson, Chase Campbell Hagan.
Private services will be held for immediate family only. Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714 is handling the arrangements.
