Mary Delois Myres, 89, of Hatfield passed on to be with her Lord and family who preceded her on Monday, March 2, 2020.
Mary was born on February 20, 1931, in Grandview, to William and Anna (McElroy) Beard. Her mother Anna passed away at a young age and her father and step-mother, Elizabeth raised her.
Mary retired from St. Mary’s Hospital in 1994, ending her career of almost 20 years to spend time with her family. She enjoyed attending church at Hatfield United Methodist Church as long as her health permitted.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Al Myres; her parents, William and Anna Beard; stepmother, Elizabeth; brothers, James and David Beard; sister, Mildred Schaad; daughter, Renee’; son, Glenn and his wife, Karla.
Mary is survived by her grandsons, Ethan Myres and his wife, Mariah and Samuel Myres; many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Services for Mary will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Matt Harmon officiating. Burial is in James Parker Cemetery in Hatfield.
